Next Step GIG

Our Next Step GIG (General Interest Group) is intended to bridge the knowledge gap between our New User SIG (Special Interest Group) for beginners, and those members with professional computer skills and training, fondly referred to as "Geeks". The Next Step GIG's are an informal open forum meeting to discuss specific "discoveries" or unique PC "problems" experienced by the participating membership.

Attending members disclose their thoughts or experiences in a general discussion atmosphere and receive helpful input from other members that may have experienced and/or resolved similar quirks.  While the meeting is informative it is not stuffy with hybrid tech talk but may be spirited with a sprinkling of opinionated outbursts and chuckles.  While all are encouraged to participate it isn't required, some folks prefer to just listen in and absorb knowledge.  In a nutshell, PCUG members are helping other PCUG members advance their knowledge by sharing each others experiences.
